REMOVE ANY FOREIGN MATTER FOUND 2. CHECK PANEL & STEERING SWITCH (OPERATION CHECK) (a) Enter the "Panel & Steering Switch Check Mode" screen. Refer to Check Panel & Steering Switch in Operation Check. Click here (b) Operate the abnormal switch and check if the switch status is correctly displayed. OK: The switch status is correctly displayed as operated. REPLACE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE DESCRIPTION This circuit is from the parking brake ECU (brake actuator assembly) to the radio and display receiver assembly. WIRING DIAGRAM PROCEDURE 1. CHECK BRAKE WARNING LIGHT (a) Check that the brake warning light comes on when the parking brake is applied and goes off when it is released. OK: The brake warning light operates as specified above. GO TO ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SYSTEM 2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PARKING BRAKE ECU (BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY) - RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY) (a) Disconnect the G2 radio and display receiver assembly connector. (b) Disconnect the A39 parking brake ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector. (c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
